Runoff Election

 

On November 7, 2017, City of Atlanta residents voted for candidates for mayor, city council, school board, judges, and special elections to fill vacant county and state positions.

There are a few races that will go to a runoff election on December 5, 2017. Those races are: Mayor; City Council President; City Council Districts 4, 9, and 11; and School Board Districts 2, 3, 5, and 7.

WHAT is a runoff election?

Where no candidate received a majority (>50%) of the votes, those races will have a run-off election on Tuesday, December 5th between the top two finishers.
