The Atlanta Climate Justice Town Hall is a public, panel-style forum, prefaced by district specific listening sessions attended by council members, mayoral candidates and community members, for organizations and individuals to connect with Atlanta’s future elected officials about the education of climate change, climate resilience, and the environmental needs of the community. It's a partnership effort between the Georgia Environmental Coalition of Colour, Georgia Conservation Voters, ThreadATL, The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, Georgia Audubon, and other community partners. We prioritize space for community members who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color), those who are low-income or public-transit dependent, renters, and those who identify as disabled to join us to provide comment on environmental health and safety issues they face here in the Atlanta region to City of Atlanta and regional leadership.
