Atlanta Metropolitan State College welcomes the Atlanta Mayoral Candidates to a Townhall hosted by The Office of Academic Affairs and Division of Social Sciences as part of Founder’s Week.

The Townhall will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Atlanta Metropolitan State College Easley Pavilion & Convention Center, 1630 Metropolitan Pkwy Bldg. #800 Atlanta, GA 30310, and beginning at 6:30 pm. Doors will open at 6:00 pm.

Atlanta Metropolitan State College is the only higher education institution in the City of Atlanta, with an enrollment largely serving Atlanta residents. Therein, the student body, faculty, staff, alumni and neighboring communities have a vested interest in the candidates and their vision for the City of Atlanta.

The purpose of this free and open to the public Townhall is to give Atlanta voters an opportunity to hear candidates discuss the issues of importance to them including housing, education, city services, environment, economic development, and criminal justice.
